INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2011 MIDWAY SWISS DAYS PARADE
You are invited to participate in the annual MIDWAY SWISS DAYS PARADE which will be held on Saturday morning, September 3, 2011, at 10:00 A.M. in historic downtown Midway. Midway Swiss Days, scheduled for September 2nd and 3rd, are typically attended by as many as sixty thousand people who come to purchase wares from talented vendors in hundreds of booths, enjoy musical presentations, eat Swiss German food, and of course, attend the parade!
Last year, we had over one hundred entries in the parade. Entries included members of the business community, bands and drill teams, patriotic groups, political representatives, musical presentations, restored antique cars and tractors, equestrian riders, motorcycle groups, and floats. Religious, cultural, and citizenship groups were also represented.
If you would like to participate in the 2011 Midway Swiss Days Parade, please return the enclosed application, include a brief description of your entry for the announcer (why you’re in the parade, family history, company description, etc.) and send or e-mail it to:

There is no fee to enter the parade. Announcing platforms with loudspeakers will announce your entry. The deadline for receiving applications is August 20, 2010. Receiving the application earlier will place you nearer the front of the parade!
We look forward to your participation in this fun event.
Sincerely,
The Swiss Days Parade Committee
